Associate Vice President of Research, Candid
Cathleen Clerkin, PhD, is the associate vice president of research at Candid, a research and data nonprofit, and an affiliated research scientist at the Center for Effective Organizations at the University of Southern California. Clerkin’s research has been published broadly in both academic and popular press venues, including in her recent co-authored book, Resilience that Works: Eight Practices for Leadership and Life. Prior to joining Candid, Clerkin led the research team at the Center for Creative Leadership, a premiere leadership development nonprofit. Cathleen holds a bachelor’s in psychology from the University of California, Berkeley, and a master’s of science and doctorate of philosophy in psychology from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She currently resides in Charlottesville, VA.
