Co-Founder and Managing Director, Tulsa Innovation Labs
Nicholas Lalla is the co-founder and managing director of Tulsa Innovation Labs (TIL), a tech-led economic development organization pioneered by the George Kaiser Family Foundation. TIL is focused on building a vibrant and inclusive innovation economy in Tulsa, OK. Prior to Tulsa Innovation Labs, Lalla led Cyber NYC, a $100 million public-private initiative launched by the New York City Economic Development Corporation to strengthen the city’s cybersecurity sector and build equitable talent pipelines to the industry. He also served as a strategy consultant for Deloitte and as the analyst to the CEO of the Urban Land Institute, where he launched the Urban Resilience Program with support from the Kresge Foundation. A native of New Orleans, Lalla completed his undergraduate studies at Northwestern University and was awarded a Sage Fellowship to Cornell University, where he earned a master’s in African American Studies.
