As a focal point in the workplace, teams command a powerful ability to act as a social bridge for a group of employees who might otherwise have little in common by way of life experience or cultural background. By prioritizing compassion and connection within teams, organizations can enact meaningful, lasting change, and create a culture in which people truly thrive. In this interactive workshop, hosted by Leah Weiss, PhD, mental health expert at Stanford and co-founder of Skylyte, participants will learn research-backed methods for cultivating compassion and belongingness within teams at their organization through the use of concrete tools and actionable tips/exercises. In doing so, participants will also learn about the four pillars of team resiliency: purpose-driven team-awareness, balancing autonomy and support, structured R&R, and compassionate connectivity.
